There are three main types of croquet played in South Australia. They can be played at a social or competitive level. Two forms of the game offer the opportunity to play at an international level. The main types of croquet currently played in South Australia are:
ASSOCIATION CROQUET – the traditional form of the game – is strategic and more complex than Golf Croquet.
GOLF CROQUET – a simplified version of the traditional game – can be played in under an hour.
AUSSIE CROQUET & RICOCHET – mostly played by school programmes and at some clubs.
