Gold Medal

The tournament will take place from March 5th to 7th at SA Croquet HQ, Hutt Road. Six state Bronze medallists will battle it out for the top national spot.

Representing South Australia is Simon Hockey, ranked 7th in the world. With 30 years of experience.  Simon, hailing from Jamestown, SA, is a formidable opponent and will look to dominate the competition. However, outcomes in croquet are never guaranteed, and even the slightest mistake could result in a loss in this technical game.

Australian Association Croquet Men’s and Women’s Singles

From the 8th to 11th of March, the Men’s and Women’s Singles will unfold across five venues across Adelaide, including Glenunga, North Adelaide, Norwood, Millswood, and Hyde Park croquet clubs.  64 local and interstate players will compete in an initial knockout format, showcasing all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned experts.

Eire Cup

The final carnival event will culminate with the Eire Cup from the 12th to 16h of March.

This team event is contested between Qld, NSW, Vic, SA, Tas and WA teams.  Daily matches include both doubles and singles games.  Matches will be played at Norwood, North Adelaide and SA Croquet HQ/South Terrace croquet clubs.  As the tournament nears its end, the players’ fatigue is palpable, but their skill levels will be at their peak, creating a thrilling atmosphere as the results unfold.
